Hi guys just a short note to say i`m still here. But have just come out of hospital having had a planned operation, thankfully every thing has gone well and i will be back to blogging soon. slowly getting back into crafting and with the help of the newly released Magnolia Tilda sweet Christmas dreams which are simple gorgeous, i have a lot to go at. A HARVEST TILDA CARD

Hi today i would like to start by saying a huge thank you to the Tomic team for choosing my card for challenge 15, as one of their favorite top 5, i cant tell you how thrilled i am.
Today have an harvest card topper for you.

 As you can see Tilda is busy gathering her crop. On this topper i used a mixture of Pion and My Minds Eye papers. Along with some lace and ribbon. Die cut leaves and a tag cut using a doohickey die. I have added some white enamel paint for a shabby chic look and finished it off with the word Harvest cut from a Tim Holtz die.

I would like to enter this card into this weeks TOMIC challenge 16. Which is ( Fall with a sketch)

TOMIC CHALLENGE 15.

Good afternoon friends hope you are well, here i have my enter for this weeks TOMIC challenge which is Brown, Cream and cooking. This is what i came up with.

 I made a concertina card. All to do with chocolate and buns yum yum.

Hope you like it. I hope Tilda as one of those chocolate hearts to me ha ha.

Also have you seen the new magnolia Tilda Christmas range i`ve managed to see 4 of the little cuties so far thanks to the lovely design team. all i can say you wont be disappointed cant wait for them to be on sale here.

TOMIC 14 MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND

Good afternoon everyone. Here is a quick posting to show a card topper i made for the Magnolia TOMIC challenge this week. Which is make your own background.

Here is a close up of the hand made background i made. I used an embossing folder which is a cute butterfly design. I also painted the sheet behind this in white paint for a shabby chic look.

BACK TO SCHOOL CHALLENGE.

Hello again and thank you for taking the time to join me. Today i have finally finished the pencil box i decided to make for the TOMIC challenge which this week was titled Back To School. I have 2 boys as you  may know my oldest will be starting ks1 and my youngest will be going to pre school just 2 afternoons a week. I love having my children with me. Now i`m not saying its easy all the time as they do fight and sqabble and are very NOISY but they are good boys and i will miss them when they are at school.
Anyway this is the result i have used hopscotch Tilda as i remember playing hopscotch at school.

The papers are from the new Prima collection which i have added white paint to to create a shabby chic look.

I have also added paper flowers again which i have painted along with lace and ribbon and buttons.

A little tag which says school in mini cut out letters.

Here's a closer look at Tilda i tried a technique that i saw on Magnolia Tilda Dt member Zoes blog. Where she used a blue ink pad so that there no black lines i was very unsure of this technique but i loved her finished result so i though i would give it a go and i have to say i am very happy with how it turned out but i think i need more practice and a few more coloured pencils. Also on this picture you can see the metal T charm that i used as the challenge wanted metal to. I love these little charms and of cause the T stands for Tilda.

MAGNOLIA - LIOUS CHALLENGE.

Hi guys i hope you are all well. Here i have a bag to share with you that i have made for the Magnolia - lious challenge. I have used one of my favorite Tildas ie Hello little butterfly. I think she is so sweet.

 The background paper is from the new prima pads along with pion design. As you can see i have along used a doohickey die. paper flowers and lace.

 The butter fly is my minds eye paper and a doohickey die cut.

TOMIC CHALLENGE # 12 RECYCLE

Hi guys its that time again for another weekly challenge at TOMIC. This week its recycle some thing in your creation. Having looked around the house etc i came up with these.

 And this is what i created the inside of the Lucozade carton is the brown backing that you can see on box. and i have decorated the match box. the blue paper is the newly released my minds eye lost and found 2. i`ve also added lace, ribbon, thread and paper flowers.

I now have a cute little box for small nick nacks etc.

TOMIC CHALLENGE # 11

Hi its that time of week again for another TOMIC challenge. This week the lovely DT members as come up with a Monochrome challenge. Now i had already made a monochrome card for a different challenge but i have been meaning to do a black and white card for a while, so this was my chance.
I have used baseball Tilda. and matted and layered onto maja design paper.

 Here you can see i have added white paper flowers along with die cut leaves and white pearls. Also a metal clock charm which i thought went well with it.

 Also along the bottom of the card i have added ribbon which i have consertinered and aded a bow at the end. Along with some more pearls.

TILDA IN MONOCHROME

Hi thank you for joining me, today i have two cards to share with you. Firstly this little sweety, Tilda with watering can. Now i have done this card in Monochrome colours as there is a challenge at Magnolia - lious. As you can see i have matted at layered the card using Tilda papers. added some lace and paper flowers along with some crystals which i coloured to match the card. More picture below.-

TOMIC CHALLENGE 10 MASKING.

Hi everyone, its that time again for another Magnolia Tilda challenge at TOMIC. I missed the last challenge as we were on holiday but here i am again for challenge # 10 Masking several stamps.

 This week i chose to do a tag using magnolia ink paper i think these two sheets go really well together. Along with the newly released skateboard Tilda. Which i have masked with the flowered wall and the tulip flowers also from magnolia.

 Put together also using a heart doily. A lace border. paper flowers and crystals to finish off.

A PICTURE OF THE SEA SIDE.

here i have a picture made by my son Thomas who is 5. I promised him i would put his art on my blog. He is such a good artist and i think very talented for his age a crafter in the making he loves to draw, cut and stick and make cards. Then like his mum he likes to put them on the mantel piece to admire is work ha ha.

CUTE TILDA TOMIC CHALLENGE # 8

Hi and welcome to by blog, where you will see that i am truly addicted to Magnolia Tilda. Today i have another card topper for you. The  cute Tilda i have used is a Easter Tilda but i have altered her slightly as i wanted a Tilda sitting down, now i do have a few but i wanted to use one that i haven't used in a while and i thought why should this one only be for Easter shes so cute its a shame to keep her boxed up until next year.

 I matted and layered her onto various papers including My Minds eye and Magnolia ink. The swirly border is a Martha Stewart deep edge punch. I cut out the love hearts using nest abilities then added flower soft around the inside edge. Now as you may be aware every week there is a challenge at TOMIC.( The official magnolia inspiration challenge) Click on the blinky to check it out for yourselves. This week the theme is stitching real or faux now unfortunately i don't have a sewing machine so i have drawn white faux stitching around the papers, i hope it shows up in the picture. I was going to use black but it was to harsh

 Here you can see the paper flowers that i have added along with these lovely leaves that have been die cut. This is a new die i bought this week. I love the result and guess i will be using it a lot more.
